I am a leadership and educational specialist, coach, officiant, musician, and adventurer. My passion for personal development and creative/innovative learning has shaped my career path so far and I strive to help others reach their potential and work towards their goals.

I believe that emotional intelligence and interpersonal communication are the keys to success in school, work and life. My experience includes curriculum design, program development, teaching, writing, event planning, marketing and communications. I have an entrepreneurial spirit that leads me to working with teams who are ready to ideate new ventures and work towards positive social change, whether it is in a startup or established organization. I am always looking for opportunities to connect with others and work on new projects.

I received both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where I was heavily involved in the Illinois Leadership Center as a student, volunteer and staff member. My most influential experience during that time was my participation in the LeaderShape Institute, a program which consisted of six intense days of interactive self discovery which lead to clarity about my own vision and values.

Because of this experience and other similar experiences, I strive to live life with a sense of vibrancy that allows me to learn and grow from every situation I come across, both good and bad. I strongly believe that we can learn from the best of times and the worst of times. There is always a takeaway and an opportunity to gain strength. I bring this ideology of persistence and growth into all of my work. I enjoy working with people and getting to know their beliefs, strengths, and goals in life. I have a passion for helping people find that spark that will keep them working towards their passion and assisting them in reaching their goals.

In my free time, I enjoy playing guitar, writing, running, traveling, spending time with my dog and cooking. I also cherish the time I am able to spend laughing and sharing stories with family and friends.
